How to treat oily skin?
Excessive oil production can accumulate and block the pores of the skin so that bacteria can flourish and cause acne outbreaks.
The first step is to ensure that the skin is still clean and the pores clear. Make sure you do use a gentle cleanser to clean and wash your face with tidy water.
Wash your face twice a day and exfoliate regularly with a non-abrasive product to eliminate dirts or dead skin cells that may block pores of the skin.
Do not over wash your face
Over wash your face. Sebaceous oil is important because it acts as a natural moisturizer for the skin. Too much washing can cause more oils to be released by the sebaceous glands to fill up the lost oils. It would cause more skin issues.
When using sunscreen products, make sure you select those which are oil-free. Check for skin care products in labels with the words “non-comedogenic” or “non-acnegenic.”
